AIB things

I feel like posting these three pieces from my last semester at AIB. Enjoy!

quick drawings!

some recent stuff!

Here are a few quickies. I'm hoping to start working on a book starring Purple Polly very soon :).

And here's Jack Black for some reason.

abstract fun

This was a fun, quick little thing that evolved from just drawing a few simple shapes.

some quickies

Today I'm introducing a new character, a friend of Purple Polly's, Green Geraldine. I created a species called "chupples" today. Green Geraldine's best friend is a chupple!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these characters, but I have a lot of fun drawing them, and hope that a great story can evolve from them.

A woman who used to live across the street from me growing up wants to collaborate on a book. She has already written a story and talked to publishers, who seem interested in it. She asked me if I would like to illustrate it and I figured I'd give it a go! I'm excited to read her manuscript and make some sketches. YAY
